Stories of the heart were meant to be…

Captured & Remembered

Managing a treasure trove of family memories doesn’t need to be overwhelming...

Heart

Curating, preserving and organizing the important pieces of family history, genealogy, stories, memories, photos, audios & videos --seems impossible.

what if  telling the family story was easier than you thought?

I guide self-proclaimed family historians, memory keepers, scrapbookers and genealogists in digitizing, organizing and preserving their family stories of the heart.

Imagine gathering all your favorite photos and stories, making them easily accessible, and ensuring they’re saved for many generations.

Think about the reward of digitizing your photos, slides, VHS tapes, and audio materials—bringing those hidden gems into the spotlight of your family history.

What if your ancestral materials were preserved in an organized, easily shareable format, making it a breeze for your family to view and enjoy without the hassle of bulky scrapbooks or ongoing storage subscriptions?

Your family’s unique stories and ancestor photos aren’t meant to be forgotten on a dusty shelf, and eventually thrown away.

They can be digitized, organized and preserved without the overwhelm, and in a meaningful way that works for everyone in your family — and I’m here to guide you.

As a grandmother and self proclaimed family historian,

I recognize the profound impact of memories on our well-being, and our identity.

Our photos, depicting personal and family stories of blessings, hardships, and triumphs, serve as a source of renewal and encouragement for the heart–even the hard memories have a place.

These moments, shaping our outlook, can be captured and cherished.  I grew up loving the stories my great-grandmother and my grandparents told — about themselves and about my parents.

When my remaining grandfather was in his 80’s, I sat down with him and a cassette recorder — wow, the questions I asked and what I learned about him.  Oh, I wish I had asked so many more!

After inheriting my father’s and mother’s family photos and a few treasures (my grandmother’s hand-written recipes), I realized I needed to weave these all into comprehensible, enjoyable life-stories for my children (who don’t want all my photo albums).

I took genealogy classes and made trips to the Family History Library to research and add to the family history lore — have loved that journey.  Even joined the Castle Rock Genealogical Society and enriched my knowledge of how to dig up those historical details.

I found a place that had all the tools I needed to write and produce meaningful photobooks, digitally, that conveyed those family histories.  And they  are in a place I own, don’t rent, and will be preserved for 100+ years — photos & stories managed and easily shared with future generations!  They digitize my stuff and even help with my family history research!!  I fell in love with them….

This is why I started this journey–and this is why I continue. You can not place a value on family stories!
