TRAUMA – I’ve Got An Oil for That!

It actually started back when my granddaughter was first playing softball – of course I was there — and taking soooo many photos and enjoying the families and fun.

You guessed it – pre-COVID.  Several years ago.

One of the player’s little sisters was on the sideline where all the younger siblings were enjoying games and chasing around.   Suddenly she was screaming as her mom was carrying her past where I was sitting – another mom walking with her said something about her getting hit on the leg (by a ball?  I don’t remember).  I followed them the short distance to where they stopped to assess.

No cuts, just a spot on her leg but the wailing clearly communicated the level of pain.

I pulled out my Trauma essential oil from my backpack and asked the mom (whom I did know) if she would mind if I put a little essential oil on it.  Happy for any help, she quickly agreed.  I just rubbed a drop on it.  Then someone produced some kind of drink or food to distract her.  And I went back to the game and taking photos.

In less than 5 minutes, the mom was back over at my chair along with the other mom asking me what the heck that was I put on her daughter.  She pointed to where the little girl was with friends, completely calm and playing.  They were astounded as they explained the pain was totally gone within a few minutes and there appeared no residual problem (redness or bruising) within the area.

Yep – gotta love that Trauma oil!

Fast forward to my last 5 months of playing badminton.  It’s a group of my peers (read that as other old people in their mid-50’s to 70’s) but we are actively playing doubles with lots of body movement.  Some of us are more competitive than others (we will not explore this further).   But it all can lead to some pulled muscles, bonked fingers from a partner’s errant racquet swing, and other mishaps like twisted ankles, to name a few.

Had to start making sure my trusty Trauma essential oil was in my possession on the court.  The pulled muscle was a guy – so he said ok to putting a few drops on but clearly felt he didn’t need it.  Limping along was quite manly, I guess.   At the next passing, I noticed he was walking normal and I asked – yep, another shocked but pleased customer.

The bonked finger from his partner’s racquet (another male) was shaking his hand around and a great effort curbing his language.  But, you know how a metal racquet whacking a digit can be – ouch, big time!  Over protests that he would probably survive somehow, I applied a few drops of Trauma oil– and no surprise to me… a few minutes later, he was astounded and quite happy about the total relief.

The twisted ankle was a younger female player – and I was in the middle of a game right next to her as she was limping off the court.  I just directed my friend next to her to where my Trauma oil was (she knew how to apply it).  By the time I finished my game and went to the sidelines, the gal had her shoe and sock off as she sat next to another lady – both with their mouths agape!

Actually, the relief had been so amazing that they jumped on their phones to find the product (looking at the label on the bottle) and had already figured out how to purchase it.  They were a bit surprised at the price but I explained that they could purchase it $20 cheaper wholesale through me or any Youngevity distributor.  And, as I explained, it only takes one or two drops per event.  Happy campers.

Trauma Drama!   That is why I carry it in my purse at all times.

And yes, people ask what is in it – and I know that is a legitimate question.  I just often think, what ingredient would stop them from taking it once they saw how effective it was?  Certainly, no drugs or chemicals are in it – so maybe that is important (it would be to me).

So here is the description from my “go to” manual Foundational Aromatherapy by Leiann King, Brenda Wright and Amanda Reynolds:

TRAUMATM – a blend considered to be a great healing balm, [it] soothes, stabilizes, supports and revives the muscles and bones.  It can provide relief for common minor injuries, such as a finger slammed in the door or a bump on the head.  Even for severe injuries, it has been known to inhibit bruising, reduce swelling, and relieve pain.  Some users have said [it] enables a wider range of motion or that with its use they no longer need other pain medications.

Ingredients (essential oils):  Sweet Birch, Calophilium, Clove Bud, Helichrysum, Sweet Marjoram, Rosemary  – a blend made by Youngevity with 100% pure, therapeutic essential oils.

Safety notes:  undiluted use not recommended for children under age 5, for pregnant women or individuals taking blood thinners.

Actually, thinking about the chemicals or drugs aspect brought to mind another personal testimonial I heard from a top Youngevity executive’s wife.  She had surgery on her foot and she was not able to tolerate pain killer medications.  Since she had a cast on the foot, she was directed to apply just a drop or two of the Trauma oil on the bottom of the other foot.  Her praise for the Trauma oil was extremely high – it got her through the painful days post-surgery when she thought she would just have to “tough it out”.

And then – there are my other friends close to my age who were each struggling with knee pain.  After sharing my suggestion of putting 1-2 drops of Trauma oil into a teaspoon size of CM cream (an analgesic product of Youngevity), they were greatly pleased with the effectiveness of applying that to their knees.

OK, the price – just know that you can become a preferred customer with Youngevity for no charge at this time.  Why do that?  It drops the cost of the Trauma oil by $20 down to the wholesale cost.  If you are a Youngevity distributor, you can purchase it already at wholesale on your own site.  If not, you are welcome to purchase it as a “preferred customer” (you have to enroll first before completing your purchase) at my site HERE .

While I pray you never would need it – I learned that I did need it, more than once, and my friends as well were happy I was “equipped”.   So, I hope this is helpful in you becoming “equipped” in the first aid department!!
